Dr. Brian LaBombard, DDS

Dr. Brian LaBombard, DDS purchased Airport Dental Care in May 2015. He welcomes you to his office at 3851 Airport Blvd, Suite 105, located in East Austin, near the Mueller Community.

Dr. LaBombard received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2002 from Tufts University, Boston, Massachusetts, and his BS in 1998 from St. Lawrence University, Canton, New York. Upon completion of a general practice residency in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Dr. LaBombard relocated to New York City, where he practiced for 11 years. Dr. LaBombard moved to Austin with his family in June of 2013 and practiced geriatric mobile dentistry. He has received advanced training in Cosmetic, Endodontic, and Oral Surgical procedures. "I am proud to be the new owner of Airport Dental Care.

"I will provide friendly, quality care to each of my patients. I listen first to fully understand my patients' concerns, needs, and wishes. Then I develop a highly personalized and detailed care plan to ensure dental wellness for all ages. I practice a a minimally invasive style of dentistry -- if I would not perform the procedure in my own mouth, I will not perform it in yours."

Dr. LaBombard is married to his wife, Jennifer, and has two sons, Owen and Archer. A Vermont native, he loves discovering the Austin cuisine, the Texas landscape, watching the Longhorns, and of course, the live music. He enjoys spending time with his family, and volunteering his talents for the under served.

At Airport Dental Care, we practice comprehensive dental care.  We believe that everyone deserves quality dental care and strive to create a welcoming environment for families, adults and seniors. We are committed to serving the Austin community and have invested in advanced dental technology to provide patients with high quality dental care. 

We are conveniently located in the heart of East Austin near the Mueller community on Airport Boulevard.  

It is our goal to make your visit pleasant and comfortable. Whether you are scheduling a routine dental exam for teeth cleaning or have a dental emergency, we care for clients like family.

Office Policies

Appointments

At Airport Dental, we try to keep our schedule flowing, so we see you promptly.   We do book our appointments, reserving time specifically for you.   If you are having a dental emergency, we will try and see you the same day if possible

We ask that you do you part to help us, so please provide at LEAST TWO business days notice if you are unable to keep your reserved appointment time. Failure to do so will result in a fee that we charge at our descretion.

 

Payment

Payment is expected at the time services are rendered.  We do not provide payment plans of any kind. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover. Additionally, we have partnered with two third party financial institutions (Care Credit, Lending Club) to offer the flexiblity of deferred interest and extended payment options.

Check policy : if your check is returned to us for any reason we charge a $25 processing fee.

 

Insurance

For patients with insurance coverage, we are in network, and accept most PPO insurance plans as full or partial payment.  Insurance plans are a contract between you and the insurance company. We are not a party of that contract. All deductibles and estimated co-payments are due at the time of service. We will try and help you maximize your benefits, but please keep in mind, there are hundreds of plans and we simply do not have the time to investigate every single one. It is YOUR responsibility to know your insurance plan. As a courtesy we will submit your claim and provide any information to assist you in receiving your dental benefits.  Please note:  WE DO NOT accept Medicaid, DHMO, or HMO insurance plans of any kind.

Nancy Gwinnell Hurd, PMA®-CPT, BFA, M.ED.

Founder, Program Coordinator, Curriculum Development, Course Instructor

 

 

 

An educator for over 30 years, Nancy holds a BFA in Dance and a Masters in Education from Arizona State University. Nancy is a Second Generation Pilates Teacher and is certified through Peak Pilates®, The Pilates Method Alliance, and The PilateSystem®.  She is proud to be one of Lolita San Miguels disciples earning her the title of a Lolita San Miguel Master Teacher™ and to have originally trained with PMA co-founder Colleen Glenn. Additionally Nancy was certified in Gyrokinesis™, The Gyrotonic Expansion System®, and Pilates for Golf. She is listed in Who’s Who among America’s Teachers and is a member of The Pilates Method Alliance and The Authentic Pilates Union.

 

Nancy has been a Peak Pilates® Master Trainer for over 10 years, is a member of the Peak Pilates® Leadership Team and is PMA CEC provider.  She is the Director and Owner of Austin Pilates Barn and teaches workshops and trainings in Austin, throughout the US and has had the pleasure of sharing her work with trainers from around the world.

 

Her Passion is bringing the joy and health benefits of movement to a wide variety of people. Nancy has worked with populations ranging from athletes to re-hab, youth to elders, and novice to advance. She

strongly believes in the success of every “body”.

 

 

Kristy Demers, PT, DPT

Curriculum Development, Course Instructor

Kristy is a licensed physical therapist and a certified Pilate’s instructor.  Kristy received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2006, and prior to that she graduated with her B.S. in Motor Development and minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2002. Kristy has primarily practiced in the orthopedic sector of physical therapy since graduation where she primarily specializes in treatment of musculoskeletal pain syndromes of the spine, pelvis and extremities.  Areas of expertise include movement impairment disorders, chronic pain, repetitive stress injuries, sports injuries, pregnancy and post partum, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and scoliosis. Kristy enjoys combining her physical therapy and Pilate’s knowledge to identify impairments in movement, alignment, muscle length, strength, and stiffness and their relationship to the underlying cause of one’s pain.

 

Laura Phillips Hampton

PMA®-CPT, BFA, Peak Pilates® Master Instructor

Course Lead Instructor-Houston

Laura, has been a student of movement for most of her life. A Pilates teacher for over 10 years, and a Master Instructor and Continuing Education provider for Peak Pilates for the last 4, she believes that Pilates offers a way of moving that benefits everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Her ongoing study focuses on healing movement, and restoring fitness, function and balance to the body. Laura seeks out opportunities to learn and develop a deeper understanding of the body, and then opportunities to share this with other teachers and students. The founding president of the Houston Pilates Association, Laura works to support the profession of Pilates instructors, building community and bridges between teachers and studios.

 

Cherry Herzog

PMA®-CPT, Peak Pilates® Master Instructor, C.I.A.R

Course Lead Instructor-Dallas

Cherry Herzog is a Texas native with over 30 years in the health and fitness industry. She completed her first certification with Physical Mind Institute in 1997 and in 1999 her formal Pilates training with Colleen Glenn at Goodbody’s Wellness Center in Dallas, Texas. She joined Peak Pilates in 2003 as a classical teacher trainer and presenter conducting certification courses and workshops locally and nationally.  She is co-owner of Pilates Connection Studio/Peak Pilates training center in Dallas, Texas and is known and respected for her passion and dedication to excellence developing teachers from California to Florida and many states in between.
